Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Joblure collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: business customers who subscribe to Joblure, and the callers and customers who contact those businesses through Joblure.
1. Our role
For business customers, we decide how their account information is used. For callers and their customers, we act as a service provider to the business they contacted: we handle that information on the business's behalf, to answer and book on its behalf, and for no other purpose.
2. Information we collect
From business customers
- Account details: name, business name, email, mobile number, billing details (card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers).
- Business information you give us or that is public: your website, Google Business Profile, license records, services, hours, service area and price ranges.
- Connections you authorize, such as Google Calendar, Jobber or Shopmonkey, and the job, customer and calendar data they share.
- Usage of the service: logins, settings, minutes and messages used.
From callers and customers of a business
- Call audio, recordings and transcripts, chat and text messages.
- Details shared to book a job: name, phone number, email, address, the problem or service needed, vehicle details for auto repair.
- Booking, transfer and review-request history.
From our website
- What you enter in our forms, and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
3. Calls are answered by AI and may be recorded
Calls to a business using Joblure are answered by an AI assistant. Each call begins by saying so and that the call may be recorded. Recordings and transcripts are used to provide the service, to let the business review its calls, and to check quality.
4. How we use information
- To answer calls, chats and texts, book appointments, transfer urgent calls, and send follow-up and review-request messages on a business's behalf.
- To set up and improve each business's assistant from its own information.
- To send business customers their results, alerts and account messages.
- To bill, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations.
We do not use a business's callers or customers to market our own services, and we do not combine one business's customer data with another's.
5. Text messages and mobile numbers
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver messages for us. Message details are in our SMS Terms. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- The business you contacted, which receives your messages, bookings and call details.
- Service providers that run parts of Joblure for us under contract: cloud hosting, telephony and text messaging, voice and AI processing, email, error monitoring and payments.
- Software the business has connected, such as its calendar or job-management system, to record the booking.
- Other Diadaro products the business chooses to connect, and only the information it allows.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold, under this same policy.
We require our AI and voice providers to process information only to deliver the service, and we use providers whose terms do not let them train their general models on it.
7. Google user data
When a business connects a Google account (for example Google Calendar or Google Business Profile), we use that data only to provide the features the business turned on, such as checking availability, creating bookings and drafting review replies. Joblure's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and people at Joblure do not read it except with the business's permission, for security, or as the law requires.
8. How long we keep information
We keep each kind of information only as long as it is useful for the reason we collected it:
- Call recordings (audio): 90 days, so the business can replay a call if a question comes up. A business can choose a shorter period, or a longer one of up to 12 months.
- Transcripts, call summaries and messages: 12 months, so the business has a history of each customer's requests and bookings.
- Call logs (time, length, outcome and minutes used, without audio or transcript): 4 years, for billing and account records.
- Consent and opt-out records (for example, a STOP reply): 5 years, so we can keep honoring the request and show it was honored.
- Business account information: while the account is open. When a business closes its account, we export its data on request and delete it within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as billing and tax records.
We also keep encrypted backups so we can recover from an outage. Information deleted from Joblure can remain in these encrypted backups for up to 30 days before the backups expire.
9. Security
We encrypt information in transit and at rest, keep each business's data separated from every other business, limit staff access, and log access to sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Your choices and rights
- Business customers can view, export and delete their data from their account or by contacting us.
- Callers and customers of a business should contact that business first. We will help it respond, or you can contact us and we will pass your request along.
- California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email privacy@joblure.com.
11. Children
Joblure is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
12. Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell business customers by email first.
